Cyclocy is a project for bike-lovers. You know the type - those who don't mind a ride in any weather.
I loved being able to participate in the construction of a brand from Day One—it makes research and development a lot more fun, unconstrained and organic!
As usual we started off with the logo and brand guidelines, but then we took it further by developing a visual language that includes mood symbols, app icons and a couple of charming characters to tell the story.

Characters
Meet Claudia and Moritz! They are your typical Berlin couple, with their typical Berlin hobbies. They own not two, but three bikes—the cargo bike is there to help with those pesky heavy-weight items.
As they do ride their sweet two-wheelers daily and know those patchy Berlin tracks all too well, they are here to guide our users through our app experience. They'll make our USPs crystal clear with everyday life examples that are easy to understand and relate to.
With time Claudia and Moritz will grow and do some further adulting, acquire new interests, jobs and routines.
